TRAP SHOOTING
Farmland Conservation Club has five concrete pathways and elevated Five Stand for shooting doubles. Open to members and non-members, the club shoots are Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. Shoots begin March 18th and run through November 12th this year. Once a month, we substitute our regular trap for the modified "Angry Bird" setup, bringing more variety and variability into your target shooting!

A 25-round trap is $5.00; a 10-round from the Five Stand is $3.00. Come on out and shoot with us!

MILITARY RIFLE POSTAL MATCHES
A monthly marksmanship contest at Farmland Conservation Club, military rifle matches are a popular activity. You may shoot in this match without any military background or affiliation. You must use a rifle "as issued" to military personnel sometime in history* -- any country, any era, and any ammunition may be used.

The contest is twenty shots for score from a rest position. You can shoot your target anytime throughout the month. This is 100% on the honor system and for fun. No big money prizes, trophies or new cars will be awarded!

Other notes and guidelines:
-
Targets shot off the bench with front sandbags only.
-
No sniper models with scopes; iron sights only.
-
We are using our current SR1 targets at 100 yards or 200 yards.

Targets may be found in the clubhouse across from the restrooms, hanging on the wall identified as Military Rifle Targets with a cost of $3.00 each. Place your money and name in the drop box located beside the target holder. If you wish to supply a small group of targets of your choice for one of your matches, your $3.00 target fee is waived for that month. This allows your favorite target to be shared with other shooters.

Results are posted each month on the bulletin boards.
